Join us in one of Agile Aviation’s Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
A flight-enthusiast from a young age, our Chief Pilot, Stephen Byrnes, has been flying for more than 20 years.
Flying runs in the Criddle family. Growing up watching his father perform at airshows, Stuart knew one day he’d follow the same flight path.
When Simon Hackett, founder of Agile Aviation, talks about his fleet, he speaks of a relationship, an admiration, a passion that goes far beyond man and machine.
In fact, you only have to spend a couple of minutes in Simon’s company to see that his is not merely a business. Instead Simon is personally invested in Agile’s luxury charter service.
“I’ve always been enormously passionate about technology and I’m attracted to things that are technically excellent.”
The same could be said for everything that Simon has done to date.
Not merely content to get his degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Simon was also instrumental in introducing the university to something called the “internet”.
As a network entrepreneur, Simon enabled the uptake of broadband through his company, Internode, connecting some 200,000 Australians to speeds they’d never dreamed could be possible.
He then went on to create Base 64, a hub for his business interests and technological innovation that continues to go from strength to strength.
But, as a keen pilot, flying the skies was also close to his heart so Simon turned this love into yet another venture.
Having very successfully built Avia Aircraft and Cirrus Melbourne luxury charter services, from the ground up, Simon has since consolidated both businesses under the banner of Agile Aviation.
Personally choosing each aircraft, Simon’s Agile Aviation fleet now mostly comprises Swiss-crafted Pilatus, and with good reason.
